Glass bottle production process

The production process of glass bottles is a complex and delicate process, the lumpy raw materials such as quartz sand, soda ash, limestone, feldspar and so on will be crushed, the wet raw materials need to be dried, and the raw materials containing iron will be de-ironed to ensure that the quality of the glass.

Of course the premise is that we first design to determine and manufacture molds, glass raw materials to quartz sand as the main raw material, together with other auxiliary materials dissolved into liquid at high temperature, and then injected into the mold, cooling, notching, tempering, it forms a glass bottle. Glass bottles generally have rigid signs, signs are also made from the shape of the mold. The molding of glass bottles can be divided into manual blowing, mechanical blowing and extrusion molding according to the production method. Glass bottles can be divided into the following according to the composition: one is sodium glass two is lead glass three is borosilicate glass.

Glass bottles have a high degree of transparency and corrosion resistance, and most of the chemicals in contact with the material properties will not change. Its manufacturing process is simple, free and versatile shape, hardness, heat-resistant, clean, easy to clean, and has the characteristics of repeated use.
Glass bottles as packaging materials are mainly used for food, oil, alcohol, beverages, condiments, cosmetics and liquid chemical products, etc., the use is very broad. However, glass bottles also have its drawbacks, such as high weight, higher transportation and storage costs, and lack of impact resistance.
